  The food here is pretty decent and reasonably priced. I've had the sausage and mash 3 or 4 times (as it's a favourite of mine) and always enjoy it. They have decent beers on tap and there is generally a good atmosphere.
  
  They could be a little more family friendly in the evenings, it's not the easiest place to visit with a pram! I'd hoped for a friendly village pub to be more welcoming to local families. Maybe next time we'll try a summer afternoon/evening in the garden.
